The episode begins with Rahi explaining to the inspector that Vasundhara kept the shirt out of fear and urges her to return it. Parag and Anil also support this request, but Vasundhara eventually admits that she cleaned the shirt. The inspector accuses the Kotharis of tampering with crucial evidence and warns them that Prem will face serious consequences. Vasundhara pleads for Prem’s safety, but the inspector insists that the shirt be handed over as it is vital to the investigation.
Meanwhile, Parag confronts Mohit for disclosing the shirt’s existence to the inspector. Khyati and Gautam suspect Mohit might be framing Prem, but Mohit defends his actions, stating that if his intention was to frame Prem, he would have mentioned that Vasundhara burned the shirt. Parag challenges Mohit’s silence, and Mohit explains that middle-class families are often unfairly targeted. Rahi encourages everyone to stay united in their efforts.
As the Shah family cooperates with the investigation, Mahi becomes increasingly worried about Prem, while Paritosh fears they won’t be able to clear his name. Hasmuk tries to encourage hope, but Leela becomes suspicious of Rahi’s calm behavior and decides to send Mahi away for safety.
Elsewhere, Raghav asks Anupama to accompany him, and, concerned for both Rahi and Prem, she agrees. Meanwhile, Mohit secretly records Prem, trying to get him to confess. However, Prem denies killing Ashish and expresses concern for his family. Rahi, feeling anxious for Prem, finds solace in Badshah’s support.
Raghav and Anupama confront Tripathi about his involvement with Ashish. Raghav accuses him of being dishonest, while Anupama questions Tripathi’s calm demeanor after losing his son. Tripathi maintains that he is seeking justice and accuses the Kotharis of trying to mislead the investigation. Anupama notices a shadowy figure lurking at Tripathi’s house. Raghav reassures Anupama that he won’t let Prem endure the same fate he once did.
Anupama prays for Prem and Rahi, while Rahi offers words of comfort to Prem during a visit. Prem, afraid that he may have accidentally killed Ashish, expresses his guilt, but Rahi reassures him that he is innocent. Later, Vasundhara privately asks Parag if Prem could be guilty, but Parag dismisses her concerns and hires an experienced lawyer. Gautam suggests Parag offer Tripathi a financial deal to drop the charges, but Rahi cautions him that it could backfire. Despite the warning, Parag moves forward with the proposal. Rahi continues praying for Prem’s well-being.
In a twist, Tripathi reveals to Mohit that Parag made a financial offer to him. Mohit advises Tripathi to accept the money but not to drop the case. It is then revealed that Tripathi had secretly sent Ashish to Bangkok before his death. Anupama and Raghav manage to track down his location, bringing them closer to uncovering the truth behind Ashish’s murder.
