Tensions are high at the mandap as Bhushan announces to Omkar that they’ll leave with the baaraat, refusing to hear any more from his family. Just then, Neil steps forward, shocking everyone with his declaration that he wants to marry Teju. Aditi tries to comfort Teju, but Teju resists, expressing her frustration at being forced into a marriage that disregards her dreams. She refuses to marry in Juhi’s place and questions why she has to bear the burden of someone else’s decisions. Aditi reminds her that their father always believed everything happens for a reason, but Teju stands firm in her resolve.
Omkar steps in, asking why she won’t marry Neil. Teju explains that her dream is to become a singer and take care of the family, not to fulfill an arranged marriage. Omkar, emotional, insists that marrying Neil is the best way to protect the family’s reputation. His distress leads him to refuse to drink water until Teju agrees, telling her that her decision to marry Neil is a matter of life and death for him. Teju breaks down in tears, finding comfort in Mukta’s embrace.
Meanwhile, Bhushan challenges Neil’s sudden decision. Neil confesses his love for Teju and mentions that he has already discussed it with Manjari and Jitu Kaka. Jitu supports Neil’s decision, claiming Teju is a perfect match for him. Although Neil’s father is hesitant, concerned about his wife Leena’s disapproval, Jitu and Manjari plead with him to let Neil follow his heart, reminding him of the sacrifices they made in their own lives.
Mukta also pleads with Teju, agreeing with Omkar and asking her to marry Neil. But Teju holds on to her dreams, showing Mukta the form that represents her future and insisting that marrying Neil would mean abandoning everything she has worked for. Prajakta reassures her that Neil is kind-hearted and will support her dreams. Mukta reminds Teju that their father’s last wish was for her to marry, for the family’s sake. Bhushan urges Vinod to make a decision. Vinod, though moved by Neil and Manjari’s arguments, worries about Leena’s threats to leave. Bhushan reassures him that Leena will come around in time, emphasizing Teju’s compatibility with Neil.
As Omkar returns, he anxiously waits for their final decision.
Vedaan visits Teju and informs her that Neil’s family has agreed. Mukta promises to continue convincing her, but Teju, overwhelmed, questions why women always have to sacrifice their dreams. She breaks down, feeling that her dreams are meaningless if they’re never realized. Mukta gently reminds her of the strength that women possess and encourages her to accept the marriage for the family’s sake.
Reluctantly, Teju is escorted to the mandap by Mukta, Aditi, and Prajakta. Just then, Satish arrives and is shocked to find the wedding in progress. He tries to stop it, but Omkar pulls him aside to explain. As the ceremony proceeds, Neil is overjoyed and promises to cherish and support Teju forever. But as they prepare to exchange garlands, Teju silently mourns the sacrifice of her dreams and wonders whether she’ll ever be able to forgive Neil for it.
