The episode opens with Neil addressing the Pradhan family. He shares that they’ve already welcomed Teju into the family and now the only thing left is to win over Leena. He expresses confidence that once Leena understands that Teju isn’t to blame for anything, she too will come around. Prachi chimes in, expressing confusion as to why Leena is being so difficult, especially since Teju is clearly better than Juhi. Her comment draws a response from Vinod.
Vinod turns to Teju and tells her that he believes she is the only one who can convince Leena, especially since Leena is angry with her. He calls this her first test as a daughter-in-law and encourages her to take it seriously. He asks her to stand by Leena’s door and call out to her. Teju agrees to try. However, Rituraj objects to the plan, warning them it might not work—but adds that he won’t stop them if they want to go through with it.
Neil questions Rituraj’s negative attitude. In response, Rituraj lashes out, asking Neil why he never told him about his love for Teju and why Juhi suddenly left on the day of the wedding. He says everyone seems to be brushing those facts under the rug, but he refuses to do so.
Manjari steps in to calm things down, saying she understands that Rituraj is upset, but reminds him that Neil has always been someone who keeps his feelings to himself. Nandini adds that since Rituraj has known Teju the longest, he should support her more. Rituraj replies that he used to think that way too, but now he realizes he was wrong.
Pradhan urges everyone to focus on the more important issue at hand—getting Leena to accept Teju. He advises Neil and Teju to go speak to her. Just then, Juhi returns home. Satish intercepts her at the doorstep and harshly asks if she came to see if he’s still alive. Juhi responds that this is her home too, which is why she came back. Satish, furious, slaps her and accuses her of ruining his reputation.
Back with Neil’s family, Neil’s father gently encourages Teju to plead with Leena to open the door. Teju knocks and calls out. Amruta advises her to address Leena as “Aai.” Teju follows her suggestion and calls out, “Aai, please open the door.”
Meanwhile, Mukta tries to protect Juhi and tells Satish not to hit her. Omi also steps in and urges Satish to calm down, warning that they’re making a scene in front of everyone. He takes Juhi inside and shuts the door. Once inside, Satish angrily confronts Juhi, demanding to know why she fled the wedding. He pushes her in frustration.
Juhi rushes to her mother, Deepali, for comfort, but is instead met with coldness. Deepali scolds her for bringing shame to the family by running away from the wedding. Everyone joins in, asking Juhi to explain why she ran. Juhi quietly replies that she didn’t want to get married, and she will repay every cent spent on the wedding. Satish snaps back, asking what money could ever make up for the damage done to his reputation.
Aditi and Lakshmi step in to defend Juhi, warning Satish not to touch her again. Teju continues trying to reach out to Leena through the closed door. She pleads with her to give her a chance, calling it her first real test as her daughter-in-law. Teju promises to do whatever it takes to win her heart and follow her guidance.
Back at Juhi’s house, the argument escalates. Satish demands that the others stop interfering, insisting that his anger is justified. Sonali questions Juhi about why she didn’t speak up earlier if she didn’t want the marriage. But Prajakta comes to Juhi’s rescue, telling her she doesn’t need to explain herself and inviting her inside. Satish tries to stop her, but Prajakta confronts him and asks if he plans to hit her too, just like he did Juhi.
Aditi adds that Satish spent money on his brother’s daughter, which should be seen as a noble act. Lakshmi takes a jab at him, implying that he’s more upset that Teju married Neil. Satish snaps at Lakshmi, demanding the truth from Juhi. Mukta steps in firmly, warning him not to raise his hand again. Rituraj, still skeptical, says that Leena won’t be convinced by mere words.
Just then, in a surprising turn of events, Leena finally opens the door. Everyone is overwhelmed with relief and happiness as hope returns to the family.
