The episode starts with Leena questioning Neil about his decision to marry Juhi. She tells him that she had warned him she would leave the house, yet he still went ahead and married her. Neil tells Leena to stay calm, suggesting that her blood pressure might rise. Leena sarcastically comments that now Neil is concerned about her health. Bhushan steps in and asks Leena why she’s blaming only Neil, reminding her that everyone agreed to this marriage. Leena argues that the marriage only happened because Neil agreed to it. She also points out that Neil never liked Juhi and only wanted to marry Teju, which he eventually did.
Leena then wonders why Juhi left the wedding venue and blames Teju for it, asking her what she did. Teju replies that she was against the marriage from the beginning and was forced into it. Rituraj tells Teju that no one can force her to do anything, and she should have stood up for herself. Amruta suggests that Leena should let go of the past and welcome the new daughter-in-law. Leena says she will “welcome” Teju but in a way that Teju will never forget.
Leena proceeds to do the Aarthi ritual but angrily kicks the Kalash away, showing her disapproval of Teju. She makes it clear that although Teju married Neil, she will never accept her as part of the family and leaves in anger. Teju asks Neil why she is being blamed for something she didn’t do, reminding him that she had told him not to marry her, but he didn’t listen. Neil apologizes for the situation.
Neil then asks Amruta to invite Teju into the house as the new daughter-in-law, and Amruta agrees. Amruta performs the Aarthi for both Neil and Teju and conducts the Gruhpravesh ceremony. However, Rituraj sarcastically comments that the atmosphere feels like a funeral, which Alok immediately tells him to stop saying.
As Neil and Teju pray, Rituraj watches Teju’s footprints on the floor. He tries to wipe them away with a plate but fails. Jeetu steps in, telling Teju that she was always meant to be the daughter-in-law of the house. Rituraj silently vows to make Teju realize that no one can love her like he can.
Amruta then suggests another ritual for Teju, but Rituraj interrupts, saying that these rituals will mean nothing unless Leena accepts Teju as the true daughter-in-law. The Pradhan family urges Rituraj to stop speaking negatively. Prachi asks Rituraj to convince Leena to accept Teju, but Rituraj refuses, saying that he won’t do it.

Leena slams the door violently in Teju and Neil’s faces, shouting “I’ll never accept this marriage!” As the echo fades, Vinod turns to Teju with a stern expression. “Consider this your first challenge as our daughter-in-law – you must win Leena’s approval.” Meanwhile, Rituraj watches with a mocking smirk, making snide remarks about Teju’s background.
