The episode opens with Gauri informing Vihaan and Arjun that she has made some delicious halwa for the prayer ceremony. She then asks Vihaan to step aside. Elsewhere, Veena questions Kamini about her plans with Gauri and wonders why she wanted to take Gauri to the shadow world. Meanwhile, Gauri hears a voice calling Biswa and is shocked to find the sound coming from a painting. She checks the painting but doesn’t see anything unusual and walks away, bumping into Sharda.
As this happens, Veena sneaks Gauri’s clothes into her own bag. Gauri apologizes to Sharda, but Sharda coldly replies that she will instruct the maid to make the offerings instead, subtly insulting Gauri before walking away. Arjun watches this and wonders why Sharda suddenly changed her behavior. Gauri hears the strange voice from the painting again. She notices a ringed finger placed on the table beneath the painting and becomes curious about the ring’s owner.
She ties the ring in the edge of her saree and walks away. At the same time, Veena worries about Kamini’s intentions with Gauri. As she walks, she also bumps into Gauri. Veena tells her that she’s kept a veil for her to wear during the puja, and Gauri thanks her, deciding to use it. Veena then asks why Vihaan feels so close to Gauri already, while she herself couldn’t form such a bond with him. Gauri looks at the veil quietly.
Elsewhere, Harsh prepares to sacrifice himself to save Sia. He sets Sia free and tells her to go find Pratham Vanshi while he waits there. A snake crawls into the cage and helps Harsh escape. Back in the house, Gauri brushes her hair and covers her head with the veil. Veena lights a diya, and Sharda asks her why she looks so scared. Sharda says Rashmi informed Kamini about something. Veena looks nervous, but Sharda declares that she knows Kamini is the witch. Veena says she doesn’t know who the witch is but believes nothing will happen to Vihaan.
Suddenly, Kamini takes over Gauri’s body. At the same time, a flock of crows enters the house. Sharda tells Vihaan to bring Gauri out since her family is about to arrive. But Gauri is missing, and Vihaan can’t find her in the room. Meanwhile, Harsh and Sia discover Pratham Vanshi tied to a tree. Pratham tells them that Kamini has returned and asks Harsh to inform his family. Sia asks what Kamini will do now. Pratham Vanshi warns them that Gauri’s life is in danger, and they must save Biswa first.
Vihaan continues searching and finds Gauri lying unconscious near a pillar. He wakes her up and asks what happened. Gauri says she fainted, and Vihaan playfully teases her. Gauri seems lost again, so Vihaan carries her in his arms. Later, Sharda assigns Gauri the task of reading from the holy book for the rituals. Gauri is thankful to be given the chance to do the puja. As she takes the book, Charu arrives to meet her. Sharda tells Gauri to meet her sister one last time.
