The episode starts with Choton visiting Jhanak’s house. Aniruddh tells him that it’s a surprise visit. Jhanak invites Choton to have lunch with them, but he says they can eat later. Choton informs them that Arshi has decided to leave the Bose house. Jhanak then asks him how Mrinalini is doing, but Choton says he isn’t sure. Aniruddh wants to know what happened with Mrinalini, but Choton changes the topic and says that everyone at home misses Aniruddh. He urges Aniruddh to return. Jhanak says Aniruddh’s parents will never accept her, but Choton says their opinions will change once Jhanak becomes the Bose family’s daughter-in-law.
Aniruddh again asks Choton about Mrinalini. Choton says he couldn’t live up to her expectations and she regrets marrying him. He adds that he didn’t inform Mrinalini about taking his exams. Jhanak says Mrinalini will be happy once she knows. Aniruddh says he didn’t expect this behavior from Choton. Choton explains that Mrinalini doesn’t understand him, which is why he stopped discussing studies with her. Jhanak offers him water and tells him to calm down. Aniruddh tells Choton that he and Jhanak are happy staying there, even though they live in separate rooms. Choton says he sees peace on their faces and suggests they settle down together. Aniruddh tells him Arshi has agreed to divorce. Jhanak advises Choton to fix things with Mrinalini. Choton asks them not to tell her about his exams.
Meanwhile, Sarveshwar tells Bipasha that she knows the bar where Chirag is taking Jhanak. So Bipasha sends Aniruddh there to help her. Bipasha claims she doesn’t know how Aniruddh ended up at the bar. Sarveshwar says he doesn’t believe her. Bipasha pleads with him to trust her. Sarveshwar agrees only because she is his daughter. He says he wants another girl to replace Jhanak. He tells Bipasha to come with him to Banaras in ten days, or she should find another girl. Bipasha asks how she can find someone in such a short time. Sarveshwar says that’s her problem. Until then, she must send him money every month.
Later, Arshi comes downstairs with her bags. Tanuja asks if she’s going to her mother Srishti’s house. Arshi says she’s leaving the Bose house but not going to her mom’s place. She says she doesn’t need to tell them where she’s going. Shubhankar begs her to give him some time to fix things. Arshi tells them she has already discussed divorce with Aniruddh and wants to finalize it soon.
Shubhankar urges Arshi to stay and make Aniruddh suffer. He requests her not to go through with the divorce. Mimi says Arshi also wants a divorce but is blaming everything on Aniruddh. She tells Arshi to admit she’s ready to move on with Siddarth. Arshi says yes, she can move on with Siddarth. She asks why she should wait for Aniruddh forever. Anjana defends Aniruddh. Arshi says she knows what Aniruddh is like and won’t change her decision.
Mimi points out that Arshi is still legally Aniruddh’s wife and asks where she’s going. Tanuja tells Mimi to stop. Mimi blames both Shubhankar and Tanuja for everything. Arshi then says she’s going to live with Siddarth. Anjana asks if Arshi is really leaving. Arshi says Anjana must be happy since she wants Jhanak with Aniruddh. Anjana replies that she never wanted the family to break and even Jhanak didn’t—that’s why Jhanak left the house. Shubhankar asks Arshi to wait for seven days. Arshi says she doesn’t want more insults. She asks if she doesn’t deserve a good life and tells Shubhankar to understand her.
Tanuja declares that she’ll cut ties with Aniruddh if he marries Jhanak. Arshi then leaves. Bipasha tells Arshi to speak with Siddarth about her job. Arshi says she’ll do it later and walks away.
Soon after, Siddarth welcomes Arshi. Arshi tells him she expected love from Aniruddh but only got betrayal in return.
Back at Jhanak’s place, Choton tells her that Aniruddh is doing the right thing. He says he will speak to the family about Jhanak and Aniruddh’s marriage. Jhanak asks him not to do that and instead bring Mrinalini. Choton tells Aniruddh to talk to Mrinalini. Jhanak says she will talk to her too. Choton wishes them happiness.
