The episode starts with Jhanak telling Aniruddh that she has made some healthy food for him. Aniruddh says he is still alive only because of the special masala she adds to the food. He pulls her close, and she accidentally falls on him. Jhanak tells him to let her go or explain what masala he’s talking about. Aniruddh kisses her on the forehead and says it’s the masala of love. Jhanak says he’s going to make her go crazy. Aniruddh replies that he’s already crazy about her. He says he can’t stay calm unless she’s with him. Jhanak tells him to stop acting and just drink the juice. Aniruddh says she should drink it with him.
Elsewhere, Choton informs his family that Arshi is now staying with Siddarth. Tanuja says Aniruddh is with Jhanak, so they can’t really blame Arshi. Choton explains that everyone has the right to live their own life. Mrinalini says they should bring Aniruddh back home. Shubhankar says his son doesn’t listen to anything he says. Laal adds that Aniruddh won’t come back now. Anjana mentions that Arshi and Aniruddh are heading for a divorce, so Aniruddh might come back with Jhanak.
Arundhati asks if she really has to witness all this. Mrinalini tells her that divorces are quite normal these days. Anjana says Jhanak is in trouble, which is why Aniruddh is staying with her. Shubhankar says they should let him stay there with someone like her. Choton gets angry and scolds Shubhankar for insulting Jhanak. Arundhati tells them to stop arguing and asks Bablu if he can convince Aniruddh to return. Bablu says he will, but only if the family agrees to Aniruddh’s conditions.
Tanuja says Aniruddh was settled with Arshi before Jhanak ruined everything. Mrinalini reminds her that Arshi left Aniruddh and is now living with Siddarth. Still, the family only feels bad for Arshi. Choton says he met Aniruddh and saw how well Jhanak is taking care of him. Bablu adds that Jhanak is the perfect partner for Aniruddh. Arundhati then asks if Aniruddh plans to marry Jhanak. Mrinalini questions what’s wrong with Jhanak and reminds them that Srishti is Jhanak’s birth mother, and Arshi is her sister. Choton says Aniruddh will marry Jhanak after divorcing Arshi. He also tells them that Aniruddh is an adult and doesn’t need anyone’s permission to marry her. Shubhankar says getting the divorce won’t be simple. Mimi says once he marries Jhanak, Aniruddh will find peace. She wishes for their happiness.
Bablu tells Shubhankar and Tanuja not to let their pride make them lose Aniruddh. He says that no matter what, he will attend Aniruddh’s wedding. Choton asks Shubhankar to make a decision now. Arundhati admits she doesn’t like Jhanak, but if a wedding is going to happen, it should be in their house. Bablu says he will bring both Aniruddh and Jhanak home if Shubhankar agrees. Tanuja tells Shubhankar they have no other option left. Choton says he will join Bablu to bring the couple back.
Meanwhile, Kajol suggests they should take Apu to the hospital because she has a headache. Apu refuses and says she doesn’t want an injection. Jimli says she will make pulao for Apu if she agrees to go. Apu replies that she’s not a child to be tricked like that and just wants medicine. Kajol says they can’t give her any medicine without talking to a doctor. Lalon tells Anuradha that he’ll earn money and build a house for her. Apu says she has already earned a lot of money. Anuradha says Kajol is the one who has that money. Kajol tells Apu to focus on her studies so she can move forward. She also says Apu has a husband and should think about marriage.
Apu says Kajol can have her husband. Kajol gets annoyed and scolds her for saying such a thing. Apu says she loves Kajol so much that she’s willing to give her even her husband. Kajol warns she’ll leave if Apu continues talking like that. Apu says Kajol is acting this way because she earns money. She adds that she also earns and asks Kajol how much she has saved so far. Kajol says it’s around 4 to 5 lakhs. Apu says she will use her money to build a house for Anuradha.
Later on, Bablu brings Anjana and Mrinalini to visit Jhanak at her home. Aniruddh asks them if Choton came too. Jhanak gives Aniruddh a look, signaling him to stay quiet, which Mrinalini notices. She says she already knows Choton finished his exams. Aniruddh says Choton behaves oddly. Jhanak then asks them what they’d like to eat. Bablu tells her they’ve come to take her with them. Aniruddh says Jhanak won’t be happy in the Bose house because they all know what she went through there. Mrinalini says it’s time to fix the wedding date. Jhanak looks at Aniruddh.
