The episode begins with Choton making a surprise visit to Jhanak’s house. Aniruddh tells Jhanak that it was his idea. Jhanak warmly invites Choton to have lunch, but he says they can eat later and shares that Arshi has decided to leave the Bose house. Curious, Jhanak asks about Mrinalini. Choton admits he doesn’t know how she’s doing. Aniruddh asks him again, but Choton avoids the question and changes the topic. He says everyone back home misses Aniruddh and urges him to return. However, Jhanak says that Aniruddh’s parents will never accept her. Choton replies that things might change once Jhanak officially becomes a part of their family.
Aniruddh again asks Choton about Mrinalini. Choton opens up and says he feels like a failure because he couldn’t fulfill her dreams, and now she regrets marrying him. He also confesses that he didn’t tell Mrinalini he took exams. Jhanak encourages him, saying Mrinalini will be happy when she finds out. But Aniruddh is disappointed with Choton for hiding it. Choton says Mrinalini doesn’t understand him, which is why he decided to stay quiet. Jhanak offers him water to calm him down. Aniruddh then shares that he and Jhanak live peacefully and sleep in separate rooms. Choton notices how peaceful they both look and advises them to settle down together. Aniruddh then reveals that Arshi has agreed to a divorce. Jhanak tells Choton to reconcile with Mrinalini, but Choton asks them not to tell her about the exams just yet.
Elsewhere, Sarveshwar confronts Bipasha. He tells her he knows she figured out which bar Chirag took Jhanak to and believes she helped Aniruddh find Jhanak. Bipasha denies knowing how Aniruddh reached there and pleads with Sarveshwar to trust her. Sarveshwar warns her that if she can’t bring a replacement for Jhanak to Banaras in ten days, she must continue sending him money each month. Bipasha is shocked and says it’s impossible to find a girl in such a short time. But Sarveshwar says that’s not his concern.
Back at the Bose house, Arshi comes down with her bags packed. Tanuja asks if she’s going to her mother Srishti’s house, but Arshi says no—she’s leaving the house and doesn’t think she owes anyone an explanation. Shubhankar pleads with her to stay, saying they can fix things. Arshi reveals that she has already spoken to Aniruddh and wants a divorce as soon as possible.
The family tries to stop Arshi. Shubhankar asks her to stay and teach Aniruddh a lesson instead of ending the marriage. Mimi points out that Arshi wants the divorce too and shouldn’t blame only Aniruddh. She also asks Arshi to admit that she’s moving on with Siddarth. Arshi says yes—she can move on and questions why she should wait for Aniruddh forever. Anjana defends Aniruddh, saying he’s not as bad as Arshi claims. But Arshi is firm in her decision and refuses to change her mind.
Mimi presses Arshi to say where she’s going, since she’s still legally married to Aniruddh. Tanuja tries to stop Mimi from interrogating her. Mimi then blames Shubhankar and Tanuja for causing all the problems. Arshi finally reveals that she is going to live with Siddarth. Anjana is shocked and asks if she’s really leaving. Arshi says Anjana must be happy because she wants Jhanak to be with Aniruddh. But Anjana says she never wanted to break the family, and neither did Jhanak—that’s why Jhanak left the house. Shubhankar begs Arshi to give him seven more days, but Arshi refuses, saying she has suffered enough and deserves happiness. Tanuja angrily says she’ll cut off all ties with Aniruddh if he marries Jhanak. Arshi leaves. Bipasha tells Arshi to talk to Siddarth about her job, but Arshi says she’ll handle it later.
Later, Arshi arrives at Siddarth’s place. He welcomes her warmly, and Arshi tells him she expected love from Aniruddh but ended up feeling betrayed.
Back at Jhanak’s home, Choton praises Aniruddh. He says Aniruddh is doing the right thing and that he will talk to the family about their marriage. But Jhanak stops him and instead tells him to focus on bringing Mrinalini back. Choton tells Aniruddh to speak to her, but Jhanak volunteers to talk to Mrinalini herself. Choton then wishes them happiness and leaves.
