The episode starts with Neil coming to meet Aniruddh. Neil mentions that Aniruddh looks cheerful. Aniruddh replies that he is happy because he is with Jhanak. Neil says he is only with Tejaswini for her reputation. Aniruddh gives Neil some advice on how to find happiness in married life.
Meanwhile, Siddharth tells Arshi that he loves her deeply. Arshi replies that she only ever wanted love from Aniruddh, but he betrayed her. Siddharth feels hurt that Arshi is still thinking about Aniruddh. He promises never to hurt her. Arshi says she has decided to end her marriage with Aniruddh. Siddharth says whether they’re married or not, it doesn’t feel like a marriage. Arshi explains that society will never accept a live-in relationship. She says she wants to marry Siddharth.
Siddharth tells Arshi that he is ready to marry her, but his family will not accept her as a divorcee. So, he asks her not to divorce Aniruddh just yet. Arshi says she only wants peace in her life. Siddharth says once he takes charge of his father’s business, his family will agree to his decisions. He asks Arshi to focus on building her career. He assures her that he’ll do anything for her. Arshi asks if he’s being honest. Siddharth says he understands why she has trouble trusting. Arshi says Aniruddh and Jhanak have ruined her life.
Anjana asks Choton what went wrong between him and Mrinalini. She then calls Mrinalini to ask her the same. Mrinalini replies that there’s no point in talking about it. Choton tells Anjana that Mrinalini doesn’t want to stay with him anymore, so he asked her to leave if that’s what she wants. Anjana asks where he had gone. Choton says he stays away from home to avoid arguments.
Mrinalini says she will leave as she has her own house. Anjana scolds Choton. Choton tells her to understand the full truth first. Mrinalini explains she asked Choton to focus on his studies. Choton says this is more about Mrinalini’s pride. Anjana questions Mrinalini if she forced Choton to take exams. Mrinalini says she only believed he would appear for them.
Choton tells Mrinalini that she never truly understood him. He mentions that today is his final exam. He tells Anjana he needs to leave. Anjana tells him not to go. Choton says Mrinalini isn’t happy with him. Mrinalini says she never said that. Choton says he understands what’s going on. Anjana tells them to stop acting like kids. She also asks why he came home late the previous night. Choton says he met Jhanak. Mrinalini says she would’ve come along. Choton says he has urgent work today and needs to leave. Anjana asks about Jhanak. Choton tells her that Jhanak is happy with Aniruddh and suggests Aniruddh should come back home. Anjana worries that Jhanak will suffer. Then she tells them to come have food.
Later, Siddharth tells Arshi to lie to Aniruddh that she will divorce him on his wedding day. He says Arshi should take revenge on Aniruddh. Arshi says she just wants to live in peace with Siddharth. Siddharth insists that Aniruddh must be punished. Arshi asks what she should do. Siddharth tells her to file the petition and inform Aniruddh to prepare to marry Jhanak. He says both the divorce and the marriage should be scheduled on the same day. But at the last moment, Arshi should cancel the divorce. Arshi agrees and hugs him. Siddharth promises to always be there for her. Arshi asks when they will marry. Siddharth tells her to trust him. He says he is ready to give up everything for her. Arshi tells him to take his time. Siddharth assures her they will always be together.
Mrinalini starts crying. Choton asks why she’s upset. He says he has some good news that might cheer her up. He tells her he took his exams and today is the last one. Mrinalini feels happy hearing this. She asks why he didn’t tell her before. Choton says he wanted to surprise her after getting the results. Mrinalini asks if he is still upset with her. Choton says he can’t be angry after seeing her cry.
Jhanak is seen video-calling Gauri and Sayali. Aniruddh joins in and wishes them a happy Baishakh. The next day, Jhanak dreams of marrying Aniruddh. In the dream, Aniruddh tells her he is very happy. Jhanak replies that she will always stay with him.
