The episode opens with Arshi arriving at the house of Aniruddh’s friend. She questions Aniruddh, asking if he feels no shame living with Jhanak. Aniruddh sternly warns her to watch her words. Arshi then demands to know what he truly wants. Aniruddh replies that he wants freedom. Bipasha steps in, saying that Aniruddh is ignoring Arshi’s emotional pain. But Aniruddh snaps back, saying he’s aware of what Bipasha did.
Bipasha tries to defend herself, saying she only arranged a car for Jhanak because Jhanak didn’t want to go to the Bose house. Jhanak accuses Bipasha of manipulating her. She sarcastically applauds Bipasha’s clever plan and questions when she should file a legal complaint against them. Though she doesn’t want to go that far, she says she will if they push her because she’s not afraid. She regrets ever trusting Bipasha and reveals that Bipasha sent her to a bar to meet Sarveshwar’s demands. Bipasha is stunned by the accusation. Jhanak says hurting others never brings happiness.
Arshi mockingly asks if Jhanak truly believes in such values. Jhanak says she does, and that’s why Arshi ended up married to Aniruddh instead of being truly loved by him. Tanuja urges Shubhankar to speak up. Shubhankar coldly says he’s just watching how far Jhanak can fall.
Aniruddh defends Jhanak, saying his family has always mistreated her, but he won’t let them continue. He tells Shubhankar that his marriage to Arshi was a result of pressure, not love, and just because he married her doesn’t mean he must spend his life with her. He adds that divorce is not uncommon and tells Arshi straight that he doesn’t want to be with her. Arshi accuses Jhanak of manipulating him.
Jhanak replies that Arshi can’t understand her, which leads Arshi to slap Jhanak. She accuses Jhanak of stealing her husband. The Bose family supports Arshi, saying Jhanak deserved the slap.
Aniruddh loses his temper and warns Arshi never to do that again. He makes it clear that he will not stay with her under any circumstance. Arshi threatens legal action. Aniruddh challenges her, saying she has no truth on her side. Jhanak tells Arshi that she’s a failure and sarcastically dares her to take Aniruddh if she can. She adds that God will punish Arshi for hitting her.
Aniruddh demands that Arshi apologize to Jhanak. Arshi refuses, but Jhanak says she doesn’t want an apology anymore. She asks Aniruddh to leave. Aniruddh insists he will never return to the Bose house and invites Arshi to go ahead and file her case. He says he will never forgive her for slapping Jhanak and tells her to leave the house. Arshi warns him he’ll face consequences and storms out. Shubhankar tells Aniruddh he’s making a mistake, but Aniruddh says Shubhankar has no right to speak.
Elsewhere, Apu shows her homework to Kajol, who praises her for doing well. Meanwhile, Mrinalini scolds Choton for not studying. Choton admits he’s trying but can’t focus. Mrinalini suspects he’s losing interest in everything—including their relationship. She regrets challenging him and doubts her decision to choose him. Choton tells her she made a mistake and sacrificed too much. Mrinalini says she no longer wants to discuss it. Choton tries to talk about their relationship, but Mrinalini feels he doesn’t respect her wishes.
Back at the Bose house, Arshi returns to her room. Anjana asks about Aniruddh. Tanuja tells her that Aniruddh will be spending the night with Jhanak. Bipasha comments that they’ll see whether he comes back tomorrow. Anjana begs them not to destroy Jhanak’s life any further.
In her room, Arshi breaks down. She declares she will never give Aniruddh the freedom he wants. In a moment of desperation, she looks at his photo and says Siddharth is obsessed with her, even though he can get anyone. She admits she’s starting to like Siddharth. Planning to get Aniruddh’s attention and revenge, she swallows sleeping pills, saying she won’t die but will make sure Aniruddh ends up at the hospital. Moments later, she faints.
At Aniruddh’s friend’s house, he tells Jhanak to go get some rest. He offers to sleep on the sofa. Jhanak advises him to try adjusting with Arshi. Aniruddh explains he already tried but can’t love her. All he wants is peace. Jhanak tells him Arshi doesn’t want to let go. Aniruddh says even if Jhanak leaves him, he still won’t return to Arshi. He promises never to do anything that will hurt Jhanak. Jhanak says she trusts him.
NEXT EPISODE
Aniruddh gently asks Jhanak to make him a promise—that she won’t leave the house. Jhanak agrees and assures him she’ll stay there for a few more days. Moved by the moment, she embraces him warmly.
