The episode begins with the doctor telling the junior that Arshi is out of danger and no longer needs life support. The junior notes that the sleeping pills Arshi took weren’t too strong. The doctor says they just need to wait for her to wake up. Tanuja asks Shubh if the police will arrest them too. Shubh reassures her, saying there’s no reason for that, not even for Anirudh. He believes all the blame will fall on Jhanak.
Siddharth meets Vinayak and asks why Arshi is still being allowed to stay at the Bose house. He thinks it’s unfair for Arshi, who loves Anirudh, while Anirudh clearly loves someone else. He wonders why Arshi should suffer for that. Anjana mentions she needs to give medicines to Dadi and Amitabh, and Lalon offers to take her home. They leave together. Anirudh asks Choton if he really seems like the type of person Siddharth described. Choton reassures him, saying they know him better. Anirudh admits he never wanted to marry Arshi and questions why she went through with it if she didn’t love him. Mrinalini calls Arshi egoistic, saying she couldn’t handle being rejected for Jhanak. She adds that only Jhanak truly loves him.
The doctor then enters, confirming that Arshi is fine but needs rest. She suggests someone stay with her—perhaps Anirudh. Later, Shrishti sees Siddharth holding flowers and tells him Arshi will be happy to see him. Shrishti goes inside and hugs Arshi, and Siddharth follows with the bouquet. Arshi thanks him. Shrishti asks if Arshi thought of Siddharth before taking such drastic steps. Arshi tells her not to embarrass her in front of Siddharth. Shrishti steps outside.
Siddharth asks Arshi how she’s doing, expressing genuine concern. Arshi apologizes, and he tells her it’s obvious she still loves Anirudh. Arshi denies it, insisting that she no longer feels that way. Siddharth isn’t convinced.
Shubh urges Anirudh to fix things, saying this might be his last chance. Vinayak admits he feels completely lost. Shrishti pulls Anirudh aside, threatening that if he ruins his life, he’ll drag Jhanak down with him. She walks away.
Meanwhile, Arshi tells Siddharth she now loves him, not Anirudh. Anirudh overhears and quietly leaves. He finds Jhanak, who senses something is wrong. Anirudh says a new chapter is starting, and Jhanak asks about Arshi’s condition. He assures her Arshi is fine and has confessed her love to Siddharth. He says he’s happy for her.
Jhanak asks if it hurts. Anirudh says he feels free and happy. He takes her hand, but she pulls away, asking him not to expect anything from her. He promises not to pressure her, but says he feels something good is coming their way. Jhanak, still unsure, says she doesn’t feel that way.
Anirudh informs her that Arshi will be discharged the next day and that he plans to ask her to live with Siddharth. Jhanak wonders if he’s going to the hospital, and he says he’ll meet her at home instead. He adds that he wants to live with her like a real married couple. Jhanak asks him to stop talking like that. Anirudh then asks if he doesn’t deserve happiness and wonders if she’ll stay with him. Jhanak replies that if Arshi leaves him willingly, she will. He doesn’t wait for more and hugs her.
The next morning, Anjana checks on Arshi, who asks where Anirudh is. Dadi tells her to rest, but Arshi refuses. She says she can’t stay in this house if Anirudh isn’t with her. She doesn’t want to live as a daughter-in-law while he lives with Jhanak. Mrinalini assures Arshi that Anirudh knows his limits and won’t bring shame to the family, but Arshi makes it clear—she’s done staying there.
