Retreating to the bathroom, Mangal sits beneath the shower stream as the water washes away her sindoor, her body shaking with uncontrollable sobs. Meanwhile, Sowmya poisons Adit’s mind, claiming Mangal signed the papers eagerly and never cared about their family. She insists Mangal’s departure proves her guilt. Standing before the mirror, sindoor and mangalsutra gone, Mangal packs her belongings. Spotting Sudesh’s photo, she tearfully apologizes for failing him but promises to still look after Kusum despite leaving.
Ishana demands to know why Mangal is packing. Mangal explains they must leave after the divorce, but Ishana refuses, declaring this is her father’s house.
