The episode begins with Adit speaking to the receptionist, asking if he can meet the woman who came to the investor bazaar as Kail’s representative. The receptionist tells him that it’s difficult because the lady is very busy. Adit pleads for just one last chance. He then calls Sowmya and updates her about his situation.
In another scene, an employee informs Mangal that someone is waiting to meet her. Kapil guesses it’s the same person from earlier. Mangal says it’s always good to give someone a second chance. Kapil then playfully asks her whether she prefers to wear a uniform or formal clothes, and she replies she’s unsure. Meanwhile, Adit grows impatient while waiting for Susheela.
Elsewhere, Kusum is at a shop buying a saree for Pratima and a chunri for Gowri Maa. She tries to pay with her card, but the transaction is declined. A woman behind her in line gets annoyed and tells her to step aside. Kusum says she’ll pay soon and calls Adit for help.
Just then, Mangal enters her office but finds no one waiting. At the same time, Adit hurries out of the building while on the phone with Kusum, promising to come soon. Mangal asks the receptionist who was there to meet her. The receptionist begins to say Adit’s name but is interrupted by Kapil.
Kapil tells Mangal that the person missed his chance by walking away and says it’s a lesson not to waste time on people who don’t value opportunities. Mangal is disappointed, saying he was only one minute late. She admits that she still has a lot to learn about business. Kapil reminds her she’ll need to stay in the city until their Delhi branch gets approval, but Mangal says she doesn’t want to wait that long.
Meanwhile, Kusum calls Sowmya and tells her that her cards aren’t working. Sowmya bluntly replies that she blocked the cards because she’s the only one earning now and can’t afford extra spending. While doing her manicure, Sowmya tells Kusum to just give sweets as a gift instead of buying a saree. Tearfully, Kusum returns the saree and chunri to the shopkeeper and leaves.
Later, Mangal visits the same shop and notices the same chunri Kusum had selected. The shopkeeper tells her that an old woman liked it earlier but couldn’t buy it because her daughter-in-law refused to pay. Mangal buys both the saree and chunri and sends them to Kusum through a shop assistant.
The assistant delivers the gifts to Kusum, saying that a lady sent them for her and mentioned she reminded her of her own mother. Touched by the gesture, Kusum decides to thank the woman. Meanwhile, Mangal quietly leaves after purchasing the items.
Adit finally finds Kusum and says he searched the whole market for her. Kusum explains that she wanted to thank the kind woman who gave her the gifts. Adit asks why she came alone, and Kusum says she didn’t know Sowmya had blocked her cards, or else she would never have gone shopping. She shows him the chunri and saree she originally picked. Adit gets frustrated and reminds her that he told her they weren’t attending Pratima’s function. He says because of her shopping, he left the office and missed his chance to meet Mangal — a chance he may never get again.
Meanwhile, Mangal looks at the gifts her team gave her and imagines Kusum encouraging her to dress up, while children compliment her appearance. She suddenly realizes she was imagining Kusum and her kids. Missing them deeply, she reflects on how difficult life is without her loved ones.
