The episode begins with Kusum arriving at Pratima’s house, where a grand party is being hosted. Kusum observes Pratima instructing a worker to warmly welcome all the guests. She remarks sarcastically on how lavish the welcome is. Pratima replies calmly that everyone who comes into our lives must be connected by fate—implying that there’s a reason why Kusum showed up. Just then, Kapil enters the scene, and Pratima’s expression changes. She looks surprised and speechless, clearly caught off guard by his arrival.
Meanwhile, at home, Adit questions Sowmya for blocking both of Kusum’s credit cards without even informing her. He says that Kusum was embarrassed because of it. Sowmya firmly responds that after spending so much on Adit and his family, she doesn’t feel in control of anything anymore. She even says she hasn’t been able to spend time with her own friends. She tells him to stop guilt-tripping her. Adit reassures her that he’s not blaming her and promises to find work soon to help with the finances. Sowmya jokes lightly with him and mentions that she has a meeting and plans to go to a pub afterward.
At the pub, Ishana’s modern and bold appearance surprises a group of boys. A senior among them asks what drinks they’d like, and Ishana politely requests a soft drink. A few boys make remarks about her looks as they all move to the dance floor. The pub manager becomes suspicious, wondering if they are underage, and instructs an employee to check their IDs. The staff member approaches Ishana and her friends for identification. Ishana explains that they don’t have their ID cards but suggests calling home to verify that she informed her family.
At the same time, Adit calls Sowmya to ask if Ishana has returned home. Sowmya, who is on her way to a meeting, becomes irritated and tells him not to make her feel like a careless stepmother. Adit quickly apologizes for misunderstanding her and ends the call. Her friends commend Sowmya for handling everything so gracefully.
Outside the pub, Shanti and Lipika catch sight of Ishana. They’re stunned by her bold outfit. Back at the party, Pratima introduces Kusum to her son and jokingly asks him if he helped Mangal choose her outfit. He replies that he has no idea about it.
Just then, Mangal arrives at the event wearing a beautiful outfit gifted by her colleagues. Pratima is delighted to see her and lovingly performs a ritual to ward off evil eyes from her. At another location, Sowmya sees Ishana and her group of friends. Shanti immediately starts blaming Sowmya, accusing her of ruining Ishana just like she ruined herself. Sowmya lashes back, saying that they have no authority over Ishana. Shanti, still furious, warns that she won’t let Sowmya destroy the girl’s life.
Recalling the many insults she had faced from Shanti in the past, Sowmya suddenly pushes her into a pool of muddy water and tells her that this is just karma—giving her a taste of what she once dished out. Back at the party, Pratima compliments Mangal, telling her she looks beautiful. Kusum, noticing Pratima’s reaction, comments to Kapil that someone important must have arrived. Kapil agrees, saying she is very special to his mother. He then excuses himself to greet the other guests. Pratima proudly takes Mangal to introduce her to Kusum, showing everyone how highly she regards her.
