The episode begins with Adit instructing a boy to thank the woman who helped him. The boy agrees. Meanwhile, a conversation is heard where someone mentions that Kapil will not be attending the event, and his representative will be judging the participants instead. Adit overhears this and is concerned.
Sowmya calls Adit to ask about the situation. Adit informs her of what he overheard. Sowmya gets upset, blaming their misfortune. She expresses that the event was a waste of time and money with no tangible outcome. Adit tries to understand her frustration and asks why she’s yelling, especially considering her illness. Sowmya, feeling both ill and sorry for him, tells him she’ll call back later before hanging up.
The manager hands Mangal a long list of people who came with business ideas. Mangal feels overwhelmed by the list and is unsure how to narrow it down. She considers telling Kapil that she can’t make a decision, especially with so many people coming from all over India to present their ideas to him.
Mangal steps aside to call Kapil, explaining her difficulty in choosing the best ideas. Kapil reassures her, telling her she’s capable and should have more confidence in herself. Meanwhile, Adit approaches Kapil’s manager. Kapil explains to Mangal how to assess business ideas and encourages her to handle the situation in his absence. He lies about being too busy at the hospital and ends the call, thinking that this situation will help Mangal gain more confidence.
Pratima walks in and notices Kapil smiling while on the phone. When she asks, Kapil reveals it was Mangal, and Pratima begins secretly planning to play matchmaker for them.
Adit gets frustrated with the manager, saying they came to meet Kapil, not his representative, and storms out angrily. Mangal returns to her stall and learns that a participant had argued about Kapil’s absence. She tells the manager to ignore it.
Later, both Mangal and Adit notice a boy in trouble and rush to help him, unaware that they are both there. Mangal manages to reunite the boy with his mother, feeling a sense of relief.
Later on, Mangal attempts to call the landline to hear Kusum’s voice but receives a message that the service is unavailable. She then calls Ishana, only to be told by someone else that it’s not her number. Mangal starts feeling uneasy and wonders what is going on. She decides to go to Delhi to check on her children and Kusum. She plans to speak with Kapil about it the same day.
Mangal submits the list of selected candidates for the investor event. Kapil praises her, acknowledging her great work. Mangal reminds him of a promise he made to her: that she could stay in Jaipur for six months. Now that the period is over, she wants to return to Delhi.
Kapil questions her sudden desire to leave and why she seems so restless. He asks if there’s something she’s not telling him. Mangal stands silently, tense and unsure of what to say.
