Kapil, Mangal’s business associate, interrupts her wandering thoughts, advising her to stop exhausting herself by constantly helping others. He reminds her of their scheduled visit to inspect a warehouse. Mangal agrees, and they set off together. During the ride, Kapil shows her pictures of the warehouse on his phone. Suddenly, Mangal instructs their driver, Pandey, to take a detour so she can pick up Chintu from school. Kapil, clearly irritated, calls her “unbelievable” and instructs Pandey to avoid any further stops. However, Pandey abruptly feels unwell and pulls the car over. Concerned, Mangal checks on him and discovers he’s running a high fever. She advises him to go to a hospital and asks Kapil to drive instead.
Annoyed but with no choice, Kapil scolds Pandey for not speaking up earlier and takes the driver’s seat after sanitizing his hands. Mangal and Chintu exchange amused glances as the car continues on its way. Upon reaching the warehouse, Chintu is reunited with his mother, who gratefully thanks Mangal for her help. Meanwhile, Kapil once again cleans his hands with sanitizer.
Later at the office, Kapil tells Mangal that she needs to draw clearer boundaries with the staff. Mangal disagrees, explaining that showing compassion—especially toward those facing similar hardships—can actually benefit the company in the long run. Impressed, Kapil says, “You really deserve applause.” When Mangal questions whether he’s being sarcastic, he clarifies that her perspective continues to surprise him. She then suggests granting employees a half-day off for Ram Navami, and Kapil agrees.
Just then, Kapil gets a call from his mother, who claims she’s feeling sick. He and Mangal rush home, only to find that she has no fever. When Kapil confronts her about pretending, she admits that she simply wanted them to be with her for Ram Navami. She insists they stay for the pooja. When Mangal respectfully addresses her as “Amma,” the gesture touches her deeply. Mangal volunteers to handle the pooja preparations. Quietly, Kapil’s mother reflects that Mangal hasn’t fully accepted them yet, but she still believes Mangal would be an ideal daughter-in-law. Kapil brushes it off, reminding her that he and Mangal are just business partners.
Mangal begins decorating the mandir with the staff and later takes charge of making the prasad, all while missing her own mother deeply. Meanwhile, Kusum worries that their family mandir hasn’t been decorated and that Sudesh will be upset. She asks Sowmya to take charge of the pooja, but Sowmya refuses, claiming she’s too busy with office work. Inwardly, Sowmya thinks to herself that one day, she’ll control the entire household.
Elsewhere, Adit tries to reschedule a meeting, hoping to polish his presentation and avoid criticism from Sowmya. Kusum approaches him to talk about the pooja but silently walks away after seeing how occupied he is, quietly mourning how drastically things have changed in the past six months.
Suddenly, the phone rings. Kusum answers it, but no one speaks. Annoyed, she wonders who keeps making these silent calls. Sowmya snatches the phone and firmly warns the caller that she’ll report them to the authorities. Meanwhile, at Kapil’s house, a worker informs Mangal that the prasad ingredients have arrived. At the exact moment, Sowmya hears Mangal’s name through the phone and stands there in complete shock.
