The episode starts with Manoj confronting Jishnu. He tells Jishnu that he doesn’t believe all his efforts were for him and his baby. Instead, Manoj accuses Jishnu of secretly aiming to become the King of Bandipur. Jishnu is hurt by this and says he’d rather be beaten than insulted. He insists he has no desire or ability to become king. Manoj points out how both his wives seem impressed with Jishnu and suggests Jishnu reveal his true intentions. Jishnu asks Manoj to throw him out if he doubts his loyalty so much. Manoj, calming down, tells Jishnu to rest and admits he feels better after speaking out. After Jishnu leaves, Manoj tells one of his men to investigate Jishnu’s background.
Elsewhere, Riya is upset with Kirpal for rebuking her in front of his parents. She reminds him that she defended him, but he seems to care only about his family. Kirpal tells her that he was just pretending. He explains that Megha received everything from Surendra, while he was left with nothing. Riya asks him what he plans to do about it. Kirpal says that the family home is their only hope, and he wants it no matter what. He adds that if they fight amongst themselves, they’ll get nothing. Riya smiles, impressed with his scheme.
Later, Megha finds Jishnu standing alone and asks why. Jishnu says Manoj is suspicious of him for taking the lead in the tribe leader situation. Megha tells him he did what any responsible husband or father would have done. Jishnu agrees and says he’s sure Manoj is looking into his past. Megha decides to confront the situation and brings Jishnu to Manoj.
Manoj is surprised and asks Megha what kind of new drama this is. Megha declares she doesn’t want a bodyguard anymore. Manoj asks what the issue is. Megha says she feels uncomfortable when Jishnu is around. Manoj teases that maybe Jishnu is in love with her. Megha firmly says Arjun is the only man in her heart and no one can take his place—not even Jishnu. Manoj says he doesn’t understand what game Megha is playing and asks for time to think. Megha walks away.
Later, Megha notices Alka is injured and offers to help. Alka asks if all men are the same. Megha says her father always supported her and taught her not to fear her husband. She proudly adds that her marriage is based on mutual respect. Megha then shares how both Surendra and Arjun have always shown strong, admirable qualities.
Meanwhile, Manoj continues to reflect. He says it’s odd that Jishnu saved Megha, yet she claims not to know him. Suspicious, Manoj tells his man to bring Megha to him. When she arrives, he says he’s found some information on Jishnu. He orders Megha to sit on his lap. Megha refuses, reminding him that she is Arjun’s wife and Alka is now his wife. Manoj mocks her and dares her to call Arjun there.
Jishnu asks Manoj directly what information he has found. Manoj asks if Jishnu’s real goal is to protect Megha. Then, once again, he tells Megha to sit on his lap. This time, Megha reacts strongly—she throws hot daal on Manoj’s face and warns him never to cross the line again. Manoj screams in pain. Megha boldly says she doesn’t need Arjun to be physically present to protect her—because he is always with her in spirit. As she says this, she looks toward Jishnu, leaving a powerful silence in the room.
