A Thoughtful Surprise and a Brewing Storm | Today’s Episode
The episode opens with Digvijay expressing his deep gratitude to Soham for saving their baby’s life. However, he firmly tells Rani to keep her distance from Soham. When Rani questions him about this sudden change, especially considering Digvijay’s own friendship with Soham, he avoids the topic and asks her not to interfere.
Meanwhile, Ishaan reaches out to Digvijay to plan a surprise for Rani’s upcoming birthday. Digvijay turns to Devu for help in finding out Rani’s preferences. Devu happily assists both men, helping them organize the surprise while keeping Rani distracted. Excited about the celebration, Digvijay and Ishaan start their preparations.
Later, Digvijay overhears Rani scolding a delivery person for not bringing the ice cream she specifically wanted. Seeing her upset, he promises to get it himself. Rani tells him exactly which brand and flavor she wants. To keep the surprise under wraps, Digvijay lies and says he’s leaving for a conference in Surat. Rani, unaware of the real reason, casually suggests he delay the trip, but he insists on going. Rani is visibly annoyed and vents to Devu, who hints she could stop him if she wanted—but Rani dismisses it, saying she doesn’t care enough to try.
The family later gathers for a mango treat, and Alisha arrives with prashad. Baa is instantly charmed and wishes aloud that Alisha were her daughter-in-law. Gayatri gently reminds Baa that Rani is still part of the family, but Baa doesn’t seem concerned. During this visit, Alisha learns from Gayatri that Rani’s birthday is on Saturday and that the family will be distributing gifts to an orphanage. Sensing an opportunity to interfere, Alisha and Pinky secretly start scheming to sabotage the event.
Elsewhere, Niranjan is missing his daughter deeply. Speaking to Priti, he recalls how he was always the first to wish Rani on her birthday. Though saddened, he accepts that she now has a new life and family. Priti reassures him that Rani is well cared for, and Niranjan quietly arranges a prayer ceremony for her and her child.
Back at home, Rani and Devu begin packing gifts for the orphanage. Meanwhile, Digvijay and Ishaan return with decoration supplies. Devu keeps Rani engaged to prevent her from discovering the surprise. Feeling tired, Rani decides to go rest. Ishaan quickly alerts Digvijay, and Devu does her best to distract Rani. But Rani grows suspicious and questions Devu before walking into her room. Ishaan and Devu quietly hide, waiting for her to fall asleep.
Once Rani dozes off, the decoration begins. Balloons, fairy lights, and flowers fill the room. As the clock nears midnight, Digvijay patiently waits. When it strikes twelve, a shower of rose petals falls on Rani as she wakes up. Surprised, she looks around at the beautiful decorations and sees Digvijay singing “Happy Birthday” just for her.
Rani is deeply touched that Digvijay remembered her birthday. He expresses his love, gives her the exact ice cream she had been craving, and lights a candle in it, asking her to make a wish. The two share a tender moment filled with warmth and love after what felt like a long distance between them.
However, in the shadows, Alisha is watching, waiting for the right moment to destroy Rani’s happiness.
