Today’s episode begins with Rani waking up in the middle of the night, feeling something unusual. She tells DJ that something is happening in her stomach. Concerned, DJ asks if she’s okay. Rani grabs his hand and places it on her stomach — and to their joy, they both feel the baby’s first kick. The moment is magical for them. Rani is overwhelmed with happiness and says it’s the best feeling of her life. She tells DJ that their dream of becoming parents is finally coming true. The couple hugs tightly, cherishing the moment.
Meanwhile, Narayani invites Pandit Ji to their house to perform a puja. Baa requests the priest to recite special mantras for Madhuri, hoping it will help her conceive a child. Madhuri is told to sit for the rituals, and the Pandit starts listing the rules for the puja. But tension arises when Baa and Pinky point fingers at Rani, saying she never listens to them or follows family traditions. Narayani becomes serious and tells DJ that she expects both him and Rani to follow what they’re being told.
Narayani then asks DJ to invite Alisha to the puja. DJ tries to explain that Alisha is busy with hospital duties, but Pinky and Baa pressure him to extend the invitation anyway and let Alisha decide for herself.
Pinky calls Alisha and invites her. DJ also tells her she can come if she wishes. Alisha gets irritated — she’s angry that DJ and Rani are still together just because of the baby. She calls her friend Kavita and demands that their practical exam date be moved to tomorrow. She threatens Kavita, saying if it doesn’t happen, she’ll be in trouble.
Soon, Rani discovers a notice about the exam — it’s scheduled for tomorrow. She’s shocked, as it clashes with the puja. Missing it could cost her dearly. She turns to Soham for help, but he advises her to prioritize the exam and postpone other matters. DJ notices Rani is stressed and asks why the exam schedule changed suddenly. Rani confesses her fear of failing. DJ encourages her, saying she can attend the exam first and then come home for the puja. But Rani reminds him that she promised Narayani to be present for the rituals.
DJ assures her that she’s going to be a doctor soon and convinces her to get ready for the exam while he handles things at home. Meanwhile, Narayani tells Madhuri to prepare the food offerings with Devu. DJ speaks to Narayani and lies, saying he’s taking Rani for her vaccination. Baa, still suspicious, warns them to be back before noon.
At the college, Rani arrives just as the exam is about to begin. She sits down and sees a dead body in front of her — it’s a dissection practical. The sight makes her nauseous, and she starts to feel sick. DJ waits outside, hoping she gets through it.
Back home, Alisha arrives at the puja, and everyone is impressed with her. Baa praises her, unaware of her true intentions. Devu whispers to Ishaan that Alisha never misses an opportunity to create trouble. Just then, Alisha receives a call from the college. The caller tells her that Rani is attending the practical, cutting a dead body — something shocking for a pregnant woman.
Alisha smirks and sees this as a chance to stir drama. She tells Baa and Narayani about Rani’s exam, twisting the story. The family is furious — they believe Rani has disrespected the sanctity of the puja by performing such a task. Baa panics and tells Narayani that DJ is going out of control. Devu questions how Alisha knew Rani was at college when she’s not even part of it. Pinky interrupts and says Devu shouldn’t get involved.
Narayani tells Devu to call Rani immediately. At the college, Rani is still trying to proceed with the dissection but is clearly not feeling well. Devu tries to reach her, but Rani’s phone is switched off. Baa starts shouting in worry. Alisha, seeing the perfect opportunity, calls the professor herself — planning to take photos as proof to show the family and humiliate Rani even further.
