The episode begins with Kabita waiting eagerly as Rani prepares to bisect the body. Pinky expresses her shame, saying she can’t believe Rani is cutting a dead body. Gayatri calmly tells Pinky that such things are normal in MBBS studies. Meanwhile, Pandit ji tells Narayani that the puja cannot be done, as something inauspicious is going on. Kabita records a video of Rani during the dissection and quickly sends it to Alisha. When Narayani and Baa see the photo of Rani performing the dissection, they get furious. Pinky adds fuel to the fire, saying that Rani is taking advantage of them and DJ is blindly supporting her. Alisha mocks DJ by calling him a “joru ka gulam,” and Gayatri gets angry at Pinky’s remarks. Narayani then tells Gayatri that Pinky has a point and that the time has come to make a serious decision.
In the exam hall, Rani struggles with the dissection. The examiner tells her to take a break, but also insists that she must complete the task to earn her marks. Rani’s friend tries to speak up for her, but the examiner asks her to focus on her own practical. DJ notices Rani’s discomfort and asks if she’s okay. Rani tells him she feels like vomiting and that her head is spinning. DJ then gives her an idea to cope with the nausea—he hands her a VapoRub. He also encourages her, reminding her that she’s strong and capable. DJ applies the VapoRub under her nose and motivates her. Rani gains courage, resumes her work, and the examiner watches her closely. The examiner seems impressed, and everyone waits for the final result.
Back at home, Narayani is waiting for Rani to return. Pinky praises Alisha’s clever planning, and Alisha smiles, saying this is just the beginning—she has more tricks to come. On their way home, Rani tells DJ she covered her face like this because she didn’t want to hurt Narayani’s religious beliefs. She also worries that if Baa and Narayani find out, they’ll be hurt. She asks DJ to fetch some Ganga water and Tulsi for purification. DJ goes to get them.
Pinky announces that DJ and Rani have arrived. She starts mocking them. DJ defends their actions, saying they haven’t done anything wrong. But Narayani tells him to stop arguing and sprays gangajal on both Rani and DJ. She then tells them to clean up first, and they’ll talk later. DJ tries to explain, but Narayani scolds him and walks into her room. Pandit ji then says Rani isn’t spiritually clean and cannot join the puja. Narayani apologizes to him for wasting his time, but Rani stops him from leaving.
Narayani tells Rani that she warned her about the puja, yet Rani still hurt the family. Alisha interrupts and says that if Rani had skipped the exam, she would’ve lost marks. Rani tries to explain that it wasn’t her idea to hide the truth, it was DJ’s. Baa blames Rani, saying she’s influencing DJ and should take inspiration from Alisha. She reminds Rani that nothing is more important than education. Rani then questions the family—if DJ has been performing surgeries for years, how come he’s allowed to attend pujas?
DJ agrees and says that he has always done surgeries and still participated in rituals. He insists he hasn’t broken any rules. Rani then speaks to Pandit ji, saying that the Gita teaches us that duty comes first. She tells Narayani that she hasn’t done anything wrong. Finally, Rani says if everyone still thinks she’s unfit to attend the puja, then she will not sit for it.
