Today’s Episode Written Update: Isha and Om Create Rules for Their New Life, Gayatri Creates Tension
The episode opens with Om returning to his room and shutting the door with a loud bang. Startled by the noise, Isha questions him about slamming the door so aggressively. Om responds that it’s just how he usually closes it. Noticing Isha’s concerned gaze, he leaves the door slightly ajar. Isha then reminds him that it was his idea for them to get married, and now she feels like the helpless victim. Om retorts that her sister, Miley, tricked him into the whole situation. Isha agrees that Miley was wrong, but now that they’re married, they need to deal with it maturely.
Om agrees and proposes that from now on, they will act as friends inside their room but play the role of a happy husband and wife in front of the family to avoid hurting them. Isha supports the plan and adds that if they are to share a room, they should set some ground rules to ensure their comfort. Om grabs a notebook and together, they start jotting down their rules for peaceful cohabitation.
Later, a woman comes downstairs and reminds Isha that it’s time for her daily Zumba session. Isha praises the idea, saying it’s a great way to stay healthy. However, her mother-in-law gently suggests that starting the day with morning prayers (aarti) is more spiritually uplifting. Isha respectfully agrees and joins the aarti. Her mother-in-law then blesses her and asks Om to apply vermilion (sindoor) from the temple to Isha’s forehead, and Om obliges.
Meanwhile, Jagdish suggests to Gayatri that she should occasionally participate in the morning aarti with the family, which would make him happy. He then offers to drop Nyssa off at school. As he’s leaving, a loan guarantee slip related to Om falls from his bag, but before Gayatri can read it, Om quickly steps in and handles the situation.
Suddenly, the atmosphere turns tense when Geeta enters the house and throws two large suitcases to the floor. When Sumitra asks what’s happening, Geeta declares that she should’ve done this long ago. She announces that from now on, certain people no longer have a place in her home. The episode ends on this dramatic note.
Later that night, Om and Isha prepare to sleep. Initially, they lie on the same bed, but the awkwardness sets in. Om gets up and shifts to the sofa. Seeing him uncomfortable, Isha decides to switch places, taking the sofa so Om can sleep on the bed.
The next morning, Isha is seen singing devotional songs and performing the aarti. Her soulful bhajan surprises Gayatri, who peeks in, wondering what’s going on. Gradually, all family members are drawn in by Isha’s devotion and join the aarti. Om smiles, watching Isha lead the prayers.
Just then, Gayatri turns on loud Bollywood music intentionally, trying to disrupt the peaceful ceremony. However, Isha and the others raise their voices in unison, continuing the aarti with such unity and spirit that it drowns out the blaring music—leaving Gayatri visibly frustrated.
