The episode begins with high drama unfolding at Ram Bhavan. Geeta continues her furious rant, pointing fingers at Sumitra and blaming her for everything that Miley did. She brings up the past and says that Sumitra should never have allowed them to stay or should have thrown them out much earlier. Isha steps in to defend her mother and calmly reminds Geeta that they weren’t living in her house for free—they were paying rent. But Geeta, full of resentment, keeps taunting Isha.
Isha, fed up, finally says that she is Shubhash’s daughter, capable of looking after her mother and sister, and there’s no need for Geeta to interfere anymore. But Geeta, filled with bitterness, curses Isha and says she will never be happy in this house or in life. Anjali then speaks up and tells Geeta that blaming Miley alone is unfair, as Sunny was equally involved, so they can’t be blamed for everything.
Sumitra tries to calm Geeta down and asks her to stop creating chaos in their home. Om also steps in and takes a firm stand, saying that Sumitra is now not only Isha’s mother but also like a mother to him. He says both Isha and Sumitra will stay in Ram Bhavan from now on. With no choice left, Geeta angrily walks out.
After things calm down, Sumitra softly tells Om that she is thankful for his kind gesture, but she can’t stay in her daughter’s in-laws’ house—it goes against their family values and customs. Om gently tells her not to be held back by old customs and to think about what’s right in today’s time. Gayatri, hearing all this, mocks the situation and sarcastically says the house should be called a “Dharamshala” instead of Ram Bhavan, as anyone and everyone is welcome here now.
Acharya ji walks up to Sumitra and says she shouldn’t see herself as a burden or an outsider, but rather as Om’s mother. He turns to Gayatri and reminds her that the house still legally belongs to him, and if needed, he can actually turn it into a Dharamshala. Gayatri, clearly displeased, says they can do whatever they want, but she won’t spend a single extra penny on outsiders.
Later, Isha sweetly asks her mother what she should prepare for breakfast for everyone. As Sumitra suggests a few dishes, Gayatri interrupts and mocks the situation again. She questions if outsiders will now decide the family’s meals. Still annoyed, Gayatri decides to “test” Isha and challenges her to cook several different items within just two hours—saying she has to finish before she leaves for the office.
Om defends Isha and says it’s unfair to expect so much in such little time, but Gayatri taunts him back, asking if his wife is already scared of the challenge. Isha confidently accepts and says she’s trained under Gayatri herself, so she’s ready. She walks into the kitchen and begins cooking with determination.
With great effort, Isha manages to finish all the dishes on time and serves them to everyone. However, in her absence, Gayatri sneakily adds extra salt to the food, hoping to sabotage her. Om notices this and alerts the rest of the family silently, so they all pretend everything is fine while eating.
When Gayatri dramatically reacts to the salty food and wonders why no one else is reacting, Om exposes her act. The truth comes out, and it’s clear that Gayatri tampered with the food. Still, she accuses Isha of failing the test. Om steps in to support Isha and confronts Gayatri for her bitterness.
Gayatri lashes out, calling them freeloaders living off her money. But Isha calmly responds, saying she still earns her own money and will contribute to the household equally—she will pay for herself and Om. She says there’s no need for Gayatri to feel burdened or resentful anymore.
The episode ends with a strong moment of dignity, as Isha stands tall in the face of criticism, and Om firmly supports her.
