Episode Update: Sumitra and Anjali Leave Ram Bhavan After a Heated Argument
The episode begins with Isha waking up Anjali, who’s still half-asleep. Just as she gets up, Gayatri storms into their room holding an empty tin of cookies. She throws it on the bed and angrily demands to know who finished it. Gayatri reveals that the imported cookies belonged to Nyssa, and questions how they were eaten. Anjali explains she asked Janki for permission before taking them. But Gayatri snaps, saying that she’s Nyssa’s mother, not Janki, and lashes out at Anjali and Sumitra.
Gayatri accuses them of being guests who have gotten too comfortable, acting as if they have full rights over everything in the house. She even warns that if this behavior continues, they might end up taking over Ram Bhavan itself. Sumitra tries to defend themselves, saying they would never think of such a thing. But Gayatri continues manipulating her, suggesting that their presence is ruining Isha and Om’s newlywed life. She claims things will never go right for the couple as long as Sumitra and Anjali stay in the house.
After Gayatri leaves, Sumitra is deeply hurt. She tells Anjali that although Gayatri’s words were harsh, they weren’t entirely wrong. She decides they must leave Ram Bhavan to protect Isha’s marriage. Anjali worries and asks where they would go, but Sumitra insists that anywhere is better than staying there. They quickly pack up their things and quietly leave.
Later, Isha and Janki return from the market with groceries. Janki asks Acharya if he offered tea to Sumitra, but he says he hasn’t seen her and assumes she’s resting. Isha goes upstairs to check on her mother and is shocked to find the room empty, with no sign of Anjali or Sumitra. Their luggage is gone too. Alarmed, she tells Om, and together they rush out to search for them.
Om contacts Murari and his friends, asking them to help locate Sumitra and Anjali. Just when Isha begins to lose hope, Om receives a call from Murari informing him that they found them at a nearby temple, attending an aarti. Isha rushes to them and emotionally embraces her mother and sister. When asked why they left, Sumitra says no one asked them to leave, but her heart felt heavy, and she didn’t want to create trouble in Isha’s married life.
Understanding her pain, Om assures her it’s okay and promises to find a place for them to stay. One of Om’s friends offers a vacant one-room kitchen apartment on his terrace. Isha thanks him and insists on paying rent, but the friend refuses, saying Om is like a brother and no rent is needed. They all go to the new place, and together they clean and renovate it, turning it into a comfortable living space for Sumitra and Anjali. Once settled, Om and Isha return to Ram Bhavan.
That night, Gayatri tries to enter Om’s room, but he firmly stops her at the door—hinting that he hasn’t forgotten what she did.
