Dushan cries out in protest, claiming Shiv Shakti has unfairly ensnared him. Lord Shiva corrects him, explaining it is not magic but the sacred power of OM that binds him. He proclaims that chanting OM illuminates the darkest times, for OM embodies Shiva himself. Calling upon Devi Parvati, he watches as she forcefully takes Dushan to Ujjain despite his struggles. Parvati coldly informs him his doom approaches, dragging him to Mahakaleshwar temple where devotees’ powerful chants of “Har Har Mahadev” fill the air.
Sadashiv commends Devi Parvati for bringing justice to Ujjain, while Lord Narayan resolves to accompany her. Observing from afar, Shukracharya and Swarth witness Parvati’s forceful capture of Dushan. Sadashiv counsels Shukracharya to forsake his grudge against Lord Shiva and embrace righteousness. Swarth defiantly rejects this advice, vowing to remain unchanged, to which Sadashiv warns them to brace for celestial retribution.
Upon reaching the temple with her captive, Devi Parvati stands before Lord Shiva who has been silently observing. She presents Dushan, demanding justice. The arrogant demon taunts Lord Shiva, accusing him of fear. But when Shiva fully reveals his divine form, Dushan staggers back in shock and terror. Lord Shiva solemnly declares Dushan’s crimes – slaughtering innocents and dishonoring Yamraj – have sealed his fate. Realizing his impending destruction, Dushan’s bravado crumbles into dread.
