Suman brings a man home to run a DNA test on Kritika, wanting to confirm who the father of her unborn baby is. Kritika is hesitant and tries to avoid it, but Devika convinces her to go ahead with the test. Teerth doesn’t want to give his sample either, but Suman forces him by pulling a hair from his head for the test. At the same time, Suman gets a call from her mother, who urgently asks her to come because Hema is about to expose Vikram’s terrible secret.
Somewhere else, Vikram decides to kill Malini, who is being kept prisoner. But before he can harm her, Hema reaches just in time and attacks him. Malini wakes up and joins Hema in fighting Vikram. However, Vikram manages to overpower both of them. He locks Malini up again but spares Hema, warning her to keep her mouth shut. Back at home, Hema stays silent for Malini’s safety. Bhoomi, not knowing the truth about Vikram, still defends him and believes he’ll marry her soon. But Suman starts noticing Vikram’s odd behavior and begins to feel something is wrong.
At the Mittal house, Teerth angrily confronts Kritika and tells her to stop creating problems and leave. But both Kritika and Devika claim that the baby really belongs to him. Teerth strongly denies it, saying he has only ever been with Suman.
Soon, the DNA test results arrive. They are fake and wrongly prove that Teerth is the baby’s father. Devika had secretly asked Vikram to change the test results because she knew where Suman was getting the test done. Suman and Teerth are both shocked by the outcome. In a shocking twist, Teerth decides to lie to Suman and pretend the results are true. He falsely says that he did have a past with Kritika and takes full responsibility for the baby. He even tells Suman that he will marry Kritika and wants a divorce, leaving her completely heartbroken.
