The episode opens with Renuka taking a dig at Sayali’s mother, Shobha, when she comes to the Deshmukh house to invite her daughter and son-in-law to their anniversary party. Though Renuka’s words are harsh, Shobha chooses to stay silent. Paresh, however, feels proud and thankful to have Sayali as his daughter-in-law.
Riya joins them at the dining table and eagerly asks Shobha if she brought the same sweets as before. Shobha smiles and happily shares the treats with everyone. Sachin enters and is pleasantly surprised to see his mother-in-law. They exchange warm greetings, and Shobha gives him a few gifts for the occasion. But Renuka mocks the presents, making fun of their quality.
While chatting, Shobha casually asks Roshni about her father, who is in prison. This question doesn’t sit well with Renuka. She angrily tells Shobha to mind her own business and warns her not to interfere in their family matters. After Shobha leaves, Renuka warns Sayali not to discuss anything about their house—especially with Sachin. She fears that if he learns the truth, he may not react well.
Sachin doesn’t feel like visiting Shobha’s house, mainly because of Dileep, who he believes has gone astray. Sayali is disheartened by the tension between her husband and brother. She gently encourages Sachin to come with her the next day and forget the negativity. Meanwhile, Renuka stands near the doorway, secretly listening to their conversation.
Elsewhere, Riya is dancing around wearing Akash’s clothes. Akash walks in and sees her playing around in his outfit. He tells her to change, but Riya continues teasing him, enjoying the moment.
Later, Sachin wishes Sayali a happy wedding anniversary. Sayali prays to God for blessings. Shortly after, Aaji comes to the Deshmukh house to see her grandchildren. Sachin is happy to see his grandmother. Renuka pretends to be pleased, but Aaji sees right through her. She throws a few indirect comments, hinting that Renuka never puts effort into welcoming elders.
Aaji then turns to Tejas and asks if he has a job. Tejas and Roshni proudly tell her they are about to start a business together. Though Aaji came to join the celebration, she knows very well that Renuka isn’t happy about her presence.
