Full Story Summary

Unami Na? follows Swaraj Joshi, a celebrated superstar, makes a dramatic return to the film industry after a three-year break, carrying a mysterious past that continues to haunt him. Dr. Vaibhavi, a dedicated and compassionate physician, longs to meet him, but her encounter with Swaraj soon draws her into a series of eerie and inexplicable events. On Swaraj’s birthday, she delivers a cake to Anandwan, where she unexpectedly comes face-to-face with a ghostly apparition marked with a strange symbol. The encounter takes a frightening turn, but Kabir arrives just in time to save her, leaving Vaibhavi haunted by the symbol etched on the ghost’s foot.

Meanwhile, Abhay and Krutika plot against Swaraj, scheming to take advantage of his wealth. Sulakshana, motivated by greed, intends to secure Swaraj’s fortune and convinces Krutika to marry him, as a clause in Swaraj’s will requires his wife’s signature. However, the vengeful ghost intervenes and injures Sulakshana after she gives her promise. Unaware of Swaraj’s true identity, Dr. Vaibhavi later meets him at the market, adding another layer of intrigue to their connection. Swaraj reluctantly agrees to marry Krutika, planning the wedding after the anniversary of Dr. Vaibhavi’s tragic death. At the same time, he reaches out to Vaibhavi to become Shashikant’s attending physician.

During the Shradh Puja, Dr. Vaibhavi enters Anandvan and senses a strange omen when the Kalash meant for her tilts at the doorstep. Krutika attempts to remove Vaibhavi from Swaraj’s life, but all her efforts fail. When the ghost attacks Vaibhavi, Swaraj comes to her rescue, further deepening their bond. Vaibhavi provides medication for Shashikant’s panic attacks and shares her initial encounter with Swaraj with Shambhavi, who interprets the recurring symbol as a sign of destiny. Swaraj, recalling Vaibhavi’s words, understands that the symbol on her foot signifies “Patience,” a message he carries with him.

As Swaraj and Krutika’s engagement approaches, he confides in her, but the ceremony is disrupted when Shashikant suffers a panic attack. Dr. Vaibhavi intervenes, once again proving her skill and bravery. Impressed and grateful, Swaraj requests that she become Shashikant’s permanent doctor, solidifying her place in their lives.
